Update

Hey guys! Long time no post... Honestly, I've just been caught up with many changes going on with my life right now that I haven't been able to make a post. As you may not know, I graduated high school this year and I will be attending university next year to study science. Let's face it, senior year was a challenge and next year will be an even bigger challenge but that's just the way life goes. I'm still not entirely sure about what I wanna do after I obtain my degree which is stressing me out but we'll see where life takes me. ;)

Anywho... Shortly after school ended, although my original plan of going to Korea for my grad trip was cancelled due to the MERS outbreak (better safe than sorry), I was fortunate enough to visit my family in California. It was my first time traveling alone and though this may not seem like a big deal to some people, I don't enjoy being on airplanes and I need someone to comfort me along the way (I'm such a kid). HOWEVER, I discovered that I actually like traveling alone because it gives me time to think, reflect, or ponder about life without my family interrupting me (I love you guys but it's true). As for being on the plane by myself, I was able to meet new people and ironically, I didn't feel as alone as I thought I would.

After landing in San Fran, my cousins picked me up at the airport, and we drove back to their house which is 30 min away from Downtown San Fran. I came home to a burrito and milk tea drink waiting for me on the kitchen table. There I was feasting at 11 p.m., all alone in the kitchen.

I'll make a separate post on my adventures in California.

Overall, I felt very blessed to catch up with my relatives and I appreciate everyone for being so welcoming during my stay (y'all are the real MVPs). I couldn't have spent the first quarter of my summer with anyone else but my Cali fam. Amazing memories shared with amazing people.

I'm really sorry about my absence for the past few months but I promise I'll stay in touch with you guys through my upcoming posts! I have plenty of ideas so stay tuned! :)

Annelie
